📝 Planning a Party (revised!)

Planning a birthday party can be overwhelming! Here are my top tips to make planning your party a breeze! 👍

1. What are you celebrating?

A Birthday, Wedding, Hen Party, Christening...?

2. What date and time do you think you would like the party?

Choose a date and time but you may need to be flexible.

3. Where are you having your party?

At home, in the garden, the green outside your house, local park, village hall, church hall, restaurant or pub, soft play?

4. Do you want the party to have a theme? Face Painting, Balloon Modelling, a Princess or Character Host?

Take a look at my website www.clickityclackparties.com for theme ideas.

5. Contact your entertainer. Fill out the contact form on my website or email clickityclackparties@gmail.com with the above information including the location of the party (the town).

6. Think about decorations.

Do you want a balloon company to decorate, chair covers, a backdrop, are you going to buy decorations from your local party shop, from ebay, amazon or make decorations?

For a 2 hour party I supply a backdrop scene setter or you can add a backdrop for an extra charge to your 1 hour party.

7. Cake.

Parties are all about cake! Get inspiration on Pinterest or a Google image search.

Are you going to do a DIY cake, get a friend or family member to bake it for you or a local cake maker?

8. Party Food.

Are you going to offer a buffet or packed lunch boxes? Order pizza or have a local business do catering for you? Why not hire an Eco friendly box of party supplies: plates, cups, bowls so you don't use paper and plastic.

Here's a company I recommend

9. Invitations.

Write out your guest list. Make the invites on Canva. Google search invitations with your choice of theme and print them. Buy paper invites online or at a party shop. Go paperless and make a Facebook Event to invite friends or a WhatsApp group chat.

10. Party favours.

Everyone loves a party bag!

There are so many options! Sweet cones, Books, Traditional bag with plastic toys, Cupcake, Slice of cake, Activity bag from a local business, Material bag to reuse as a PE bag, Ebay and Amazon sell pre packed party bags if you want an easy option!

I hope these tips have been useful for you! 🎉
